FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Our offices are located in Saint-Hubert, on the south shore of Montreal. Our projects are primarily located throughout the Greater Montreal area, with occasional work in regions such as Magog in the Eastern Townships and Sainte-Adèle in the Laurentians.

We maintain a culture of in-person work, and most of our team members prefer to be in the office and interact with their coworkers.

However, the working style depends on the reality and requirements of the position. For example, a sales representative who is often on the road may prefer to work remotely.

In the office, the dress code is very casual. Jeans and T-shirts are more common than jackets and ties. We provide corporate clothing to employees who are in contact with clients.

On job sites, we provide workwear such as T-shirts or long-sleeved shirts, sweatshirts, caps, and winter hats. For safety reasons, tank tops and bare chests are not allowed, and steel-toed boots are mandatory.

Yes! We firmly believe that employee fulfillment comes from maximizing talent and enjoying work. This often leads to new opportunities, role changes, or internal promotions.

In fact, our current Director of Operations and several of our project managers began their careers as construction workers at Bisson Expert!

This group insurance includes life insurance, life insurance (dependents), accident/disability insurance, long-term disability insurance, medication coverage, health professionals, and dental care.

In the office, fun and teamwork are part of our values. These elements are present in our daily work.

On job sites, there is an atmosphere of trust and mutual support. During heat waves, the Heat Squad, composed of office staff, heads to the construction sites to provide workers with Gatorade and popsicles.

We have a social club that organizes a wide range of activities. Canadiens or Alouettes games, cooking workshops, rafting, escape rooms, paintball, volleyball, bowling… there’s something for everyone!

We also have corporate activities, such as our classic summer family event, office BBQs, and our Christmas party. It’s very important to us that there’s no divide between the office and the field: we’re one big, happy team.

All our employees work Monday through Friday.

At the office, hours are fairly flexible: in the morning, people start arriving at 7:30 a.m., and few are still there after 5 p.m.

On job sites, the day starts at 7 a.m. and ends between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., depending on how the day goes.

In the office, salaries are adjusted based on experience, position, and responsibilities. We also offer distinctive benefits and know how to reward our team members based on their efforts. On job sites, salaries and benefits correspond to the standards established by the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ).
